Riverbank Door Code Generator

Create a random door code for your front door. This page does not save any data. Generate a code, then use the email button to send it to the property manager.

How the lock works

Your door has an electronic keypad with the digits 0-9 and a C button. Your code is 4 digits, entered one at a time. After entering it, you turn the knob to open the door.

Three simple rules:

  1. Each digit is used only once in a code - no digit repeats.
  2. Press one button at a time, in order.
  3. Made a mistake? Press C to clear and start over.

Which way to turn the knob

Unlock: turn the knob away from the door jamb Lock: turn the knob toward the door jamb

The door jamb is the frame edge the door closes against - the side with the latch.

How to enter your code on the door

  1. Press the four digits in order, one at a time. Press each button firmly.
  2. Made a mistake, or not sure where you left off? Press C to clear everything and start over from the first digit.
  3. After the fourth digit, turn the knob away from the door jamb to unlock, and open the door.
  4. If the door doesn't unlock, press C, re-enter the code, and try again.
  5. This lock does not relock by itself. To lock up, close the door and turn the knob toward the door jamb.

Keep your code safe

This code unlocks your apartment. Keep it private. Do not post it where others can see it, and do not share it with anyone who should not have access to your home. A fee applies to change your code after move-in - contact the office. If you think your code has been seen by someone else, contact the office so it can be changed.
